We provide direct 1:1 therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disability ages 2-21 focusing on their physical, sensory, behavioral, cognitive social and communication needs.

 

We create comprehensive treatment plans that focus on skill building and behavior reduction goals, tailored uniquely to your child’s skills and family’s needs.

Prior to the development of your child’s individualized treatment plan, our team will assess your child using a variety of assessment tools. Assessments will be completed prior to the start of sessions and every six months after to evaluate progress and update individualized treatment plan.

 

Your child will work 1:1 with a Behavior Technician in your home or out in the community. The Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will implement your child’s Individualized Treatment Service Plan and Individualized Behavior Intervention Plan to focus on behavior and skill building goals. The technician will actively take data for all skill building programs and behaviors that occur at every session. Data is used to analyze and interpret your child’s progress and is essential for all treatment decisions.

 

The primary advantage of in-home services is the ability to apply the principles of ABA in the child’s everyday life, thereby allowing him or her to carry over any skills learned at home into more formal or controlled settings (e.g., school, center-based settings). While there are many skills that a school or facility may be able to teach, there are some that may not be feasible to teach. Without a real-life application of learned skills, therapy is inconsequential. In addition, when therapy is conducted at home, parents find it easier to participate as the child and therapist interact, leading to more learning opportunities and transfer of knowledge from the therapist to the parent. We believe that therapy becomes exponentially more effective the more engaged the parent is. Best of all, no travel is required because we come to you.
